We are back tomorrow for Stock Up Saturday and we are open from 10am until 12pm and its just £5 for the pot. Tomorrow is open to everyone and no membership is needed.

You will see from the pictures that we have some nice cheese boards available. We dont have enough for everyone so we will randomly draw numbers and if you are that number in the queue you will receive one. Thats the fairest way to hand them out.

Good afternoon everyone. It's that time of the week again, my doesn't time fly! We are back tomorrow for Stock Up Saturday and it's another good one. We are open between 10am until 12pm and it's just £5 for the pot. We've kept the price the same for the last couple of years but costs are rising. £5 is still fantastic value. Tomorrow is open to everyone in the local area and no membership is needed.

This week is full of 14 different fruit or vegetables and some lovely fridge or freezer items. If you haven't been in before then why not make tomorrow that day.

Now, we all do that thing when we leave home. Get out the door and think 'have the left the cooker on'. I left the building today and knew I was forgetting something. I have unfortunately not taken pictures of quite a few items! So as well as the pictures below we have pineapples, mangos, grapes, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, apples, limes and a few other things.

There's enough for everyone to have a milk, cheese and another fridge or freezer item. Please remember that you may get one item and someone else will get something different.

Happy Sunday everyone. It was great seeing so many of you yesterday and we hope to see even more of you next week. We are back on Wednesday for food club which is between 4pm and 6pm. Food club is for anyone who is struggling to buy food during the cost of living crisis. For £3 you get to choose 15 items and this week we have a few new items available. We do have a catchment area and memberships need to be applied for. Please note that the price of food club is increasing which we will talk to members about on Wednesday.

Good afternoon you lovely bunch of people! Can you tell we are excited to be back?! Here we go.....

We are back tomorrow for Stock Up Saturday and my goodness are we back with a bang. We have some gorgeous fresh produce available as well as ambient items, chilled and frozen. We are open between 10am until 12pm and it's just £4 for the pot. However, please note that the price is going to increase from next week. We have kept it low for as long as possible but with costs rising the price needs to increase. Saturdays are open to everyone in the local area and no membership is needed. Please remember that only one entry per household is permitted.

We have high numbers of some items so there's plenty for everyone. The strawberries 🍓 are gorgeous!

It is also national volunteers week so please show some love for them. See you all tomorrow

Good afternoon everyone, how are we all enjoying the weather? My goodness doesn't time fly! It is only just over a week to go until the community larder reopens. We will be back for Saturday stock up on the 6th June and we will be back with a bang. We will be having a super Saturday stock up with lots of food available. Food club will be back on Wednesday the 10th June. We are still providing emergency food bags if you find yourself in need.

So who has missed us and let's start guessing what will be in the delivery. I'm going to guess strawberries 🍓

Good morning everyone! I hope you are enjoying the lovely weather and bank holiday weather. As most of you are aware, all of us at the Old Bank are volunteers and we are very lucky to have lots of amazing volunteers.

We are looking to recruit a couple more volunteers for a specific role. Our main delivery arrives on a Friday between 10.30 to 12.30 and we would like a couple more people to join the existing volunteers. There is one very important thing about this role and that is you will need to be physically fit and able to lift. You don't need to be superman or superwoman but able to lift about 15kg. The role involves helping unload the delivery, sorting the delivery and getting set up for Saturday Stock Up.
