Mouse Now Two Weeks Old And 172g just over three times his birth weight, what a whopper!!

Mouse is doing well, he's feeding nicely and his eyes are now open. We still have a long road ahead but slowly getting there.

MEET MOUSE

Six days ago Mouse came to ACORN. He was two days old and weighed 55g (most kittens weigh around 100g at birth). His mum didn't want to care for him and his litter mates were lost very quickly. When Mouse was removed from the home he was cold, it was feared he wouldn't survive.

Mouse, so called because it is like feeding a large mouse is now 80g. Its been slow progress getting him to a near normal birth weight but he feels quite strong now and is beginning to want the milk and suck.

We still have a long road ahead, he needs feeding every three hours, so I see him a lot and at first he really didn't want to feed so the process was long.

Hopefully I can post pictures of his progress.

A Private Adoption For Rosie ROSIE HAS NOW FOUND A NEW HOME

Rosie is a beautiful Siamese girl seeking a new home as she can no longer be cared for by her owner.

Rosie was fully vaccinated but these are now out of date, she is neutered and chipped.

The Kitten Season Has Started.

Here is a young lady we have called Maddie, along with five, ten day old babies,

If you look closely you may be able to see the babies who are all happily feeding, all of course are black, like mum.

As we are still getting to know Maddie, we are not sure of the s*x of the babies yet, all are doing well and are quite plump.

They are all safe now and in from the cold.

The Last of This Seasons Kittens left at ACORN. Looking for Special People to adopt these lovelies.

Needless to say these little ones are Black or Black and White.

AMELIE, ALICE & JACK have now been Adopted Just little ADAM left looking for a forever home. ADAM is still a bit timid but is getting a lot more confident.

We have Amelie and Alice who are sisters, and their brother Adam all black, with a tiny bit of white on their chests. Amelie is more confident than Alice and both are more confident than Adam. These are beautiful kittens, they are now nearly six months old and deserve forever homes as they have been here for quite a long time. This litter are fully vaccinated and neutering is in progress.

Jack is black & white and can be a quite a timid boy at first with strangers but will eventually warm. Jack is a stunning boy, he has been neutered and is fully vaccinated.

Little POPPY was removed from a colony of cats where TNR work is being undertaken. POPPY will not have to live a feral life like her mother. A few days after being caught POPPY decided it was much nicer in the warm and dry where food was plentiful. Shes a real cutie who likes humans. NOW ADOPTED
