We’re thrilled with the new LED lighting at the Hall, our ancient wiring is replaced too. Huge thanks to Graeme and his Team at GRG Electrical, completing the works with their super efficiency as always. The main hall lights can be dimmed for a perfect ambience with modern spot lights to light the stage. The Community Suite lights up beautifully for smaller evening events, providing a warm glow that’s bright enough for craftwork.

We are extremely grateful to HDBF - Halkirk District Benefit Fund, their generous fund award is enabling our hall to better serve the community.

A super day at our Spring Craft Show, huge thanks to our judges Patsy, Lindsay, Lorraine and Alison. A wonderful array of entries showing so many Crafting skills, from baking and floral, up-cycling and Pom Pom challenge!

Lovely to see our good neighbours and the wider community too, enjoying a wee blether over tea and home bakes! Thank you all so much for supporting our Village Hall.

Oh what a joy to see Gina so happy with the new trolley, too much excitement before even taking her coat off at our Craft Group! It will make serving and clearing at events so much easier.

The BEST ideas come from those who give their time so generously to our community. In Gina’s words ‘A trolley is a wonderful thing’, and so say all of us.

Look forward to seeing you at our Spring Craft Show, as always please feel free to SHARE!
