As we mark 100 years of adoption, we’d like to share Entwined 🎥, a deeply personal short dance film created by Barnardo’s adopter Marie-Louise Flexen.

Inspired by Marie-Lou's own adoption journey, the film tells a story of loss, hope, belonging and connection that can be part of the path to adoption.

Through contemporary dance 💃, the film celebrates the enduring bonds that unite adoptive families.

For Marie-Louise and her husband, adoption was "the best thing we have ever done." She hopes their story inspires others to start their adoption journey. 💚

Wrth i ni ddathlu 100 mlynedd o fabwysiadu, hoffem rannu Entwined 🎥, ffilm ddawns fer a phersonol gan Marie-Louise, un o fabwysiadwyr Barnardo's.

Mae’r ffilm wedi’i hysbrydoli gan daith fabwysiadu Marie-Louise, ac mae’n adrodd stori am golled, gobaith, perthyn a chysylltiad, themâu a all fod yn rhan o’r llwybr tuag at fabwysiadu.

💃 Mae’r ffilm yn defnyddio dawns gyfoes i ddathlu’r cysylltiadau parhaol sy’n uno teuluoedd mabwysiadu.

Mabwysiadu, oedd “y peth gorau” i Marie-Louise a’i gwr “ei wneud erioed.” Mae hi’n gobeithio y bydd eu stori’n ysbrydoli eraill i ddechrau ar eu taith fabwysiadu. 💚

They need a caring adult who can provide a stable, loving home and stand by them through life’s ups and downs.
