Burton upon Trent Competitive Music Festival Burton upon Trent Competitive Music Festival is a Member of the British and International Federation of Music, Dance and Speech.

The aim of the festival is to provide a platform for amateur singers to perform and receive a professional adjudication on their performance. The festival aims to give the general public an opportunity to enjoy the talents of competitors and to appreciate performances of song in a festival environment. There are cash prizes and awards donated by Local Businesses and Individuals.

After a wonderful Bursary Audition day last week, we are pleased to release the information on the 2026 Winners Concert for Bursary Winners, as well as from the Festival back in April!

We would love you to join us for what has been another amazing year of talent displayed at both events. 🎶🎹🎭🎤

Thank you to everyone who supported the 23rd Burton Competitive Music Festival on Sunday. To the Stewards, Sponsors, Family & Friends and Performers we are grateful as ever for your support!

As always, the talent displayed by all competitors was excellent and the standard remained very high!

We are really looking forward to welcoming everyone to the Music Festival today. Classes start from 9.30am until we finish around 8.30pm so if you fancy a bit of culture and would like to support local singers and pianists, pop along.
