Equal Support Opportunities CIC (ESO) are committed to working with young people who have various physical, social, emotional and/or learning impairments in and around Burton upon Trent. There are a myriad of social, structural and attitudinal barriers that impact negatively on the education, training, employment and opportunities offered to young people from groups. The aim of ESO is to support
these young people to break down these barriers . Our aims are as follows:
* To increase the skills, confidence and capacity of our client group in order to improve the quality of their life for both themselves and their carers
* To work with vulnerable and hard to reach groups of young people to ensure their voices are heard
* To build young peoples emotional resilience and empower them to fully participate in the community
* To facilitate the development of young peoples decision-making skills
Equal Support Opportunities CIC began in 2016 with support of Terry Harrison MBE, our patron who brings a wealth of experience gained through heading a number of national and international projects supplying life changing opportunities for others. Our aims & objectives center around improving quality of life for our client base through customized, one to one support.
