Pendle Powerfest will be attending Armed Forces Day at Townley Park this Father's Day, helping our fantastic partners raise awareness and vital funds for the Armed Forces community.
Come along, say hello, enjoy some amazing vehicles and help support some truly worthwhile causes.

Ian from the Saxton Center represented us today at the Armed Forces Flag Raising at the Town Hall to commence Lancaster & Morecambe District Armed Forces Day this weekend.

You can’t missed our marque near the midland hotel and you will have a chance to speak to some of our veterans too

The Healthier Heroes CIC Uniformed Services Family Fun Day is back on Sunday 21st June! 🎉🪖

⏰ 10am - 4pm
📍 Towneley Park, Burnley
🎟️ Free-to-attend event
✈️ A full size replica spitfire and a WW1 1917 SE5a
🍫 We will be giving away 250 Hershey's bars and 250 parachute toys to U12s on a first come, first served basis
🎡 Funfair rides and a bouncy castle

👏 Military stands, plus charity and community stalls

🌅 We are incredibly proud of Sharon and her amazing team for taking on the Summer Solstice Walk, supported by some of the wonderful residents from Bancroft House.

What an incredible achievement! Sharon managed to complete over 30 miles in a single day – a true testament to her determination, resilience, and commitment to making a difference.

Everyone involved should be extremely proud of what they have accomplished. Their dedication and community spirit have been truly inspiring.

It was absolutely lovely to see Finn again today.

Finn lived at Bancroft House for just over a year and, during that time, made incredible progress. We are delighted to see her now thriving in independent living and working within the forestry industry a true labour of love and passion for her.

Today, Finn came back to support the team on our Summer Solstice Walk, and it was wonderful to catch up and see how well she is doing. Stories like Finn’s remind us why we do what we do and the lasting impact that the right support can have.

We are incredibly proud of everything she has achieved and wish her every success and happiness for the future.

Sharon And the team and a number of veterans have been walking since gone 4 am this morning in order to raise awareness for mental health as part of the summer solstice walk.

Which takes place from sunrise to sunset

They have all done exceptionally well and with many hours to go yet please support them and give what you can

One of our Veterans has also completed a marathon in two hours and 26 minutes during the event
