Plea for toys 🥰🙏🏻🧸

We are in the process of helping a local family and some of the items they require are toys which we sadly don’t have stock of at the moment. Could you help with any age appropriate interactive toys for two year old girls? This could include interactive books, cars, bricks, puzzles, games, drawing boards etc.

We are also looking for some emergency vehicle or construction vehicle type toys for a little boy aged 3 💙

Toys are important to children’s development because they help build essential skills in a fun and engaging way. Through playing with toys, children develop their imagination, creativity, and problem-solving abilities. Toys also support physical development by improving coordination and fine motor skills, while social toys encourage communication and teamwork when children play together. Overall, toys provide valuable learning experiences that help children grow intellectually, emotionally, and socially.

We’re looking for more volunteers to join our amazing team 💙

We are a volunteer-run charity supporting families who are going through difficult times, and we simply couldn’t do what we do without the kindness and dedication of people in our community.

Right now, we’re hoping to welcome a few more volunteers to help us continue this important work. We’re only asking for a small commitment — just 1 or 2 shifts a month, with each shift lasting around 2 hours.

Ways you can help include:
• Sorting through donations
• Making up support packages for families
• Helping with fundraising activities

Every little bit of time makes a big difference, and you’ll be part of a friendly, supportive team making a real impact.
