Our Story

COVID-19 STATEMENT 17 June 2020

Our premises were closed on 23rd March as per Scottish Government instructions. We are missing our customers and our trainees, and look forward to welcoming you back once we are permitted to do so. When we move to Phase 2 and it is confirmed that non-essential shops can open, we will gradually resume our services. This will be on a phased basis, from July (at earliest). We plan to open our Yarns & Crafts shop in Buckie for a few mornings per week. Wool orders can be made through the MRO Yarns & Crafts page, by sending a private message. Any customer Embroidery orders will be fulfilled by MRO Embroidery staff in Elgin, behind closed doors. The shop will remain closed. Orders will be picked up by arrangement. Our staff will be wearing masks to protect you and we ask that you wear a mask to protect us. Disposable single use masks will be provided at our doors, should you not have your own mask. Hand sanitizer will also be at each door, and we ask that you sanitize your hands on entry and exit. Safe distancing will be observed, follow any one way systems in place. Staff and Volunteers will be on hand to guide you. This is also in preparation for our adults with learning disabilities to be able to return to as safe an environment as we can offer them. Our hours will be subject to change. MRO Recycling is picking up recycling from customers on a fortnightly basis. Please let us know if you have re-opened and require a collection. Follow us on Facebook for regular updates to our services. This statement will also be updated regularly. Many thanks for your patience and collaboration, during these times.
