Air Cadets really do have a lot to offer everyone, in addition to all of the excellent opportunities available to our young people through BTEC Qualifications, our Adult CFAV can also achieve formal qualifications through a range of different levels and subjects through the Cadet Vocational College helping us achieve and develop skills to benefit our young people with a formal Graduation at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst

14 Cadets and 4 members of Staff attended a private tour of the Concord at Runway Visitor Park at Manchester Airport

A private tour of the Concorde is a unique and valuable experience for Air Cadets because it directly supports the organisation’s aim of inspiring and encouraging an interest in aviation.

The Concorde represents one of the greatest achievements in aerospace engineering — a symbol of innovation, teamwork, and excellence in flight.

On board; we got to sit on the aircraft learning about the height and speed the aircraft would fly at; and which seats celebrities would sit in including members of the Royal Family.

Following this; in small groups we then all had the opportunity to sit in the flight deck taking it in turns to learn about what the different instruments were used for
