It was a privilege to have representatives from Quarry Bank in Bloom to help us open our Community Herb Garden today as the project was funded by a donation from their organisation. Thank you also to the volunteers from Friends of Saltwells Nature Reserve and wardens Tom and Emma who helped with the construction and planting of the garden.
The garden is open for the local community to gather herbs to use at home when cooking.

We've been busy at Saltwells!
Thanks to a donation from Quarry Bank in Bloom we have created a Community Herb Garden at the Wardens' Base. Come along and join us at our official opening.
We will have herby treats for you to sample, along with other refreshments.
We also have a limited number of herb plants to give away!

What a great turn out for our first evening litter pick. Thank you to everyone who came to help and lovely to see some new faces.
We will be planning another evening litter pick around mid June, so watch this space for details.
Our next regular daytime litter pick will take place on Wednesday 3rd June 10am-12noon.
Meet by the Wardens' base near the carpark if you would like to join us.
