Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji'un

We are deeply saddened by the tragic plane crash that occurred yesterday, claiming the lives of dedicated government officials who served our nation with honour and commitment, including Alhaji Dr. Ibrahim Murtala Mohammed and Alhaji Muniru Mohammed.

These were not just public servants—they were fathers, mothers, mentors, and patriots who worked tirelessly to shape a better future for all Ghanaians. Their lives were devoted to progress, justice, and unity, and their sudden passing is a heartbreaking loss to the nation.

In their service, they exemplified courage. In their sacrifice, they leave behind a legacy that will endure.

May their souls rest in perfect peace, and may their families find comfort in the love and respect of a grateful nation. Their memory will remain a guiding light as we continue the work they so passionately began.

Ghana mourns. Ghana remembers. Ghana honours them.
