Feeling autumnal? Mark the season with one of our bountiful recipes 🥧

Our pear, blue cheese and candied walnut salad is a lovely way to enjoy the flavours of the season: crisp, juicy pears, tangy blue cheese and sweet, crunchy candied walnuts.

You can find this recipe and plenty more autumn inspiration in the latest WI Magazine 🍂

Thanks to Julia for organising our walk this morning . We think the upcoming Storm Austen kept a few at home but great exercise for our legs and jaws with beautiful blue skies ! Xx

Another fabulous day out for our members to see Cats at Plymouth . Thanks must go to Katrina who organised everything so well, the coach, lunch and the theatre . Even the rather winding road home due to a road closure didn’t mar our perfect day xx

A great turnout for Lizzie The North Devon baker who demonstrated her cake decorating skills tonight . She has made over 900 wedding cakes and it shows how tastes have changed as none have been fruit cake .

It’s tonight ( Wednesday) Lizzie will be demonstrating how it’s done and we’ll be sampling her work !
