Today we unveiled the new sign showing the way to Plouescat. Thanks to SQ Bar and Restaurant and Cllr Lorna Childs from Braunton Parish Council for your support in making this happen. This sign replaces the old sign which was beginning to show its age but may reappear somewhere else in the village 🤔 We look forward to showing off the new sign to our French friends when they visit next May 🇬🇧 🇫🇷

Sadly we didn’t take any photos at our Summer Treasure and Scavenger Hunt today but here’s one that the proud winners posted 🏆 Thanks to everyone who took part and supported us. Thanks to The Black Horse, Braunton for hosting the finishing line and to Pure Home and Slees Home Hardware for concealing a couple of the clues. Some tricky questions today - who knew what a cruciverbalist does and that one is at rest in St Brannocks churchyard? 😋 All profits go towards hosting our French friends from Jumelage Plouescat Braunton next May 🇬🇧 🇫🇷
