Thanks to everyone for coming to our Bingo night yesterday at the Old Vault 🍕Thanks to the Old Vault for hosting and to Cathy for being our caller 🙏 We had a great evening and all funds raised will go towards funding the programme for our French friends from Plouescat when they come over in May 2027 🇬🇧 🇫🇷

Thanks to everyone who came to support our annual quiz last night 🙏 Thank you to Braunton Cricket Club for hosting the event and Mike Plowman for being, as ever, an amazing quizmaster 🤩 We all had a great time and raised some fantastic funds for the next visit of our French friends from Plouescat in May 2027 🇬🇧 🇫🇷 So who knew that Boris Johnson’s actual first name isn’t ‘Boris’? 😮

We were due to have a Twinning social yesterday playing boules at the boules court but sadly the weather intervened ☔️ Members of Braunton Twinning met up at SQ instead and spent a relaxing hour or so catching up 🇬🇧 🇫🇷

Our Summer Scavenger and Treasure Hunt was a great success. Starting at the Cricket Club and ending up at the Black Horse with plenty of clues in between (and refreshment breaks as well as shelter from the rain) in the White Lion, the Duck Dive and the Aggi. Fun was had by all and a fantastic amount of money was raised to start the fund for the next visit from our friends from Plouescat in 2026 🇬🇧 🇫🇷
