Wyvern Riding Club Much more fun with horses... Wyvern Riding Club is affiliated to the British Riding Clubs and caters for people who love having fun with their horses.

Wyvern covers the area of Worcestershire, Wyre Forest and Herefordshire. Club members generally come from the Worcestershire and Wyre Forest areas but we are more than happy to have members from any area of the world. Our membership ranges from those with little experience to some who have spent a lot of time in very advanced competition. Whatever your skills you will find a happy welcoming bunch of horse-lovers and a diary packed with exciting events.

As there is an increase in Equine Influenza cases at the moment Wyvern Riding Club would like to remind all of our competitors and clinic users that it is a requirement of attending these events that every horse must have an up to date Vaccination Certificate. We may request to see and check them.
Also when attending competitions keep your horse away from other horses and leave plenty of space between your horses transport. Don’t share water buckets and avoid touching other peoples horses.

As a result of the increase in reported cases of equine influenza, the Equine Infectious Diseases Action Group has recommended that there needs to be a period of increased vigilance and monitoring to help prevent a further spread of the disease.
