Well done to Viv who completed her 1st Super Sprint Triathlon in 1 hour 26 minutes 🥰

400m swim in a lake 😳

13km cycle in the wind 💨

3 km run in the rain 🌧️

Viv trained hard for this event and managed to get in and out of the wet suit 😂

In terrible weather she had a lovely surprise when he sisters arrived to cheer her on 🥰

Viv raised £440 for the legacy fund, that will be used to fund the university stater packs we are planning to deliver to local 6th forms in July 🥰

Thanks Viv, your a star ⭐ ###x

Sorry all - link for my first triathlon below!

A crazy idea I had 20 years ago as Anna said; at the time I thought she might do it with me when I got her to go to stroke technique lessons with me 😂

Maybe the next one ……

Billy’s Aunty Viv, has her first triathlon planned for this weekend 🏃🏼‍♀️🏊🏻‍♀️🚴🏿‍♀️

Viv started training for this 20 years ago, when 4 of us took swimmer improver lessons 😳

Billy was 9 weeks old, when I thought this was a good idea 🤯and Viv’s youngest was 9 months old 😂😂

Viv’s raising money for the legacy fund and she deserves every penny as she’s getting in and out of a wet suit at 54 years of age 😂🤯

Good luck to Viv and thanks for raising legacy funds, enjoy every moment of your challenge ###x

A family friend Sarah sent us details on how beneficial a Quidditch Set could be across schools in Bournemouth.

Sarah is a School Sports Organiser and with this Quidditch set, she could orchestrate the inclusion of many children into sports.

It was not a game we were familiar with but after Sarah shared the attached data with us, it felt right to invest in 🏐🔴🔵

Sarah has updated us that it is being well used and had been well received in the Bournemouth Schools, so thanks to Sarah and her team for implementing the Quidditch Set 🥰

Sports for all is something very close to our hearts, Drew and Billy were given many sporting opportunities and we want other children to have opportunities as well 🥰

This morning I woke to beautiful photos of Tals ( Billy’s best friend’s sister) at Billy’s school in Cambodia 🇰🇭

Tals took time out of her travels to visit the school with her friend Fliss 🥰

The two of them have had the best time and the children have loved the visit, as you can see from all the smiling faces.

Tals says it’s inspiring what our fundraising is doing for this school and these children, it’s so nice to hear what a difference we are all making, for Billy 💙

Tals found one of the lively young boys reminded her of Billy 😆, an abundance of energy 😜

Fliss loved the opportunity to see how Billy’s legacy is keeping Billy with us 💙. Fliss sadly lost her brother Ollie, when he was 26 years old, so knows this pain 💔

Thanks to Tals and Fliss for sharing their beautiful travel adventure to Billy’s school with us all ###x

The London Marathon is over for 2026🏃‍♂️

Tom ran round London at some pace, finishing in 3hrs 42 mins 🗯️

He had fabulous support placed in various positions, that we could get to in the madness of the London Marathon and always a big smile for anyone who saw him 🥰

Everyone wearing a legacy fund t-shirt did with so much love and pride, it was heartwarming ❤️

Tom raised £1738 for the fund and as he ran past with Billy on his back, he made my eyes water again 💙

Thanks Tom we are so proud of you and grateful 🥰

I’ve heard there’s already a desire for a 3.30 marathon 😂😂, so see you next year ###x

What a lovely sunny day for 1000’s of runners to be heading to London to register for tomorrow’s Marathon 🏃‍♂️

Tom is ready for this run and has provided all his supporters with this beautiful t-shirt 🌻💙

We will wear them proudly, as we cheer Tom on and all of us supporting will carry Billy in our hearts through the streets of London 💔

Felix ( Billy’s best friend) is also taking Billy with him as he runs for Children with Cancer, a few of Billy’s friends have his initials tattooed on their wrists 💙

The runners with Billy on their tops will be taking him quickly through London, as it became apparent last night everyone is competing against each other for the best time 😂 (except Kerry, she’s out as long as she can be for some peace and quiet 😂)

Again as my eyes water whilst writing this post 🥺, I am forever grateful to anyone who is still taking Billy on their journey through life 💙

Good luck to Tom, Felix and Kerry, keep safe in the heat and enjoy every moment you can 🏃‍♂️

Still time to sponsor Tom, any amount big or small is appreciated 🥰###x

The legacy fund has supported the school in Cambodia, it’s always lovely to see how far the British pound goes in Cambodia 🇰🇭

Drew calls it Billy’s school and Han calls it Billy’s classroom, whatever it’s called a little of Billy grows in Cambodia 🥰

My friend Emma who went to Cambodia with me in 2024 and I talked of sending 2nd hand computers to Billy’s school, but this was not possible so Han purchased 10 computers in Cambodia and it’s lovely to see the photos he sent 💻

The fund has also paid for 2 boys to continue learning English for another year and that costs £82 per boy for a year 🤯. Speaking English gives these boys so many work opportunities 🥰

Han has also provided a whiteboard for Billy’s classroom 💙

I smile through my watery 🥹eyes as I update you all, as a photo of Billy is on the wall in the classroom, looking over a class of well behaved, keen learners, something Billy wasn’t very interested in was school work 😂😂

Helping Billy’s school always puts a little warmth in my heart and I will be planning a visit to Billy’s classroom with Drew, in 2027 hopefully.

Thankyou as always for your generosity to the legacy fund 💙###x

The Manchester Marathon what a fabulous Marathon to follow for the day 🏃🏻

The feel from the Marathon was kindness and calm, easy to get around on the Tram and even when busy it still worked ( not sure if I’d bring a pushchair or a dog to a marathon 😂)

Jon made sure we kept a supporter pace, seeing him at mile 1, mile 10, mile 15 and mile 26 was a race against time as he was averaging an 8 minute mile 😳😱🤯

He finished it in 3 hour’s 41 mins and 26 seconds, not bad for a 44 year old man 🤷‍♀️🥰

Needing to be in Manchester today gave me an unplanned night in Liverpool with Drew and my brothers last night 💙💙💙

So thanks to Jon I have had a wholesome weekend and he has carried our legacy fund money very quickly round Manchester, no pressure Tom Harris for next Sunday 😜 ###x

Just getting ready to head for the Manchester Marathon on Sunday 19th April 🏃🏻

I’m going to support Jon Kite, who is running this year 🥰

Jon was always running this marathon for The Alzheimer’s Society in memory of his dad 🥰

Jon is also going to run for £315 that has been pledged for the legacy fund 🌻

Jon’s partners daughter Lotty (Billy’s cousin) had signed up for the Manchester Marathon last year and raised £315 😍 for the legacy fund.

Lotty is unable to run the Marathon as planned as she had very exciting, unexpected news late last year. Lotty is expecting her first child a little boy due on 17th June 2026 🥰

Lotty couldn’t change who ran the Marathon and did not want to let the Legacy Fund down so Jon kindly agreed to run for his dad and Billy 🥰

Thanks Jon and looking forward to cheering you on this Sunday 🥰
