The Masonic Million Memorial Fund was established in 1919 by the United Grand Lodge of England (UGLE) to rebuild the Freemasons' Hall in London as a national memorial to the over 3,000 Freemasons who died on active service during World War I. The fundraising campaign successfully raised over £1 million.

The Memorial: The raised funds were used to construct the Art Deco Freemasons' Hall on Great Queen Street, London, which was completed in 1933. Inside the building sits a memorial shrine containing a roll of honor for the fallen brethren.

The Hall Stone Jewel: Donors to the fund were recognised with special commemorative jewels, designed by artist and mason Cyril Spackman. These feature an angel carrying a temple which can also be seen on the "Lincolnshire Window" at Freemasons Hall

Individual Recognition: Members who donated 10 guineas or more received a smaller silver jewel, while those who gave 100 guineas or more received an 18-carat gold variant.

Hall Stone Lodges: Lodges that raised an average of 10 guineas per member were honoured with the title "Hall Stone Lodge." Their lodge names and numbers are inscribed on marble panels within the ceremonial entrance of the hall, and the current Masters of these lodges wear the jewel on their collars.
