Grounded Community

Grounded Community We’re a grass roots charity based in Boscombe. We work with others to give our community access to healthy, nutritious food. We grow veg for a reason.

We grow fruit & veg, we provide workshops, we redistribute food surplus and we create networks to help others share food 🌱 Our food systems are broken and vulnerable. Our diet is poor and quality of our vegetables is low. We want to produce high quality, mineral rich, nutritious food for local people. We aim to create a federation of local growers. We aim to train people so they have the skills to grow. We are also looking at developing public growing spaces in cooperation with others.

Just a nudge to remind you our charity auction is still live.

We've got some brilliant lots up for grabs - from a private foraging session with George and a family pass to Brownsea Island, to a mystery Lush gift box, unlimited yoga at Urban Shanti, and a family ticket to Bournemouth Oceanarium (plus loads more). Every single lot has been donated by someone in our community, which means every bid goes straight back into the Secret Garden.

Bidding closes on 27th June, so there's still time to bag something brilliant AND do a genuinely good thing.
