The party doesn't stop after the procession! Head along to Douglas Park for the Royal Command Performance, we’re keeping the mardi gras vibes going all afternoon!

Here’s what’s on the lineup:

12:45 PM: We kick off with a live DJ, food vendors, and local stalls to explore.

2:15 PM: Our Retinue and School Presentees take the stage for their afternoon performance.

The Grand Finale: The brilliant Róisín McCarney is back! If you caught her at Ladies Day, you know how amazing she is. We are absolutely delighted to have the DIVA headlining.

Fair Day is just around the corner, and we’re looking for some local Bucket Shakers!

Every single penny raised helps make the Fair Day magic happen. Plus, there is a massive perk to the job... you get an excellent, unobstructed view of the Crowning Ceremony and the Royal Command Performance!

We’ve got two shifts available (or feel free to do both!):

☀️ Morning Shift: The Town Hall

9:00 AM:*Grab your donation bucket at the Town Hall and start shaking at your allocated gate.
10:30 AM: Head back to the Town Hall for a well-deserved cuppa ☕
11:00 AM: Head into the park with your prime viewing spot secured for the Crowning!

☀️ Afternoon Shift: Douglas Park

1:30 PM:*Meet at the marquee to get your bucket and start shaking at your allocated gate
3:00 PM: Return your bucket to the marquee and enjoy the rest of your Fair Day!

Final Call for Fair Day announcements! 🚨

We are just under one week away from the deadline! Next week, the town will come together to celebrate our 118th Fair Queen from Grange Primary School. If you want your message read from the balcony or displayed on the big screen, this is your last chance to submit.

⏰ All announcements must be emailed to [email protected] by Sunday, June 21st. No late submissions can be accepted under any circumstances.

⚠️ Please ensure your messages are clear, kind, and free of inside jokes so our compere team can deliver them perfectly and the whole community can enjoy the magic.
