A very strong performance from Joshua today. Worked hard from the first whistle, pressed with real purpose and linked up really well with the boys around him. His hard work paid off with a brilliant finish — something we’re used to seeing fringe and time again! ⚽️🔥

Dogged, determined and tough to play against. Mason won his individual battles, worked relentlessly and helped get us on the front foot.

Stepped up when it mattered and calmly slotted home a penalty too. 💪🏼⚽️

⚫️🟡 BSA BLACKS VS LARKHALL THISTLE REDS 🟡⚫️

Well done to all the boys today for our CLYFA league match against Larkhall Thistle👏🏼⚽️

A hard-fought game that was scrappy in spells, but the boys dug in, battled brilliantly off the ball and worked hard for each other throughout.

Our movement was really good and the relentless pressing paid off, while some of our passing and link-up play was excellent. It was great to hear the opposition coaches complimenting some of the small triangular passing phases as we worked the ball from back to front. 👏🏼

The hard work was rewarded with two goals, including our captain Mason stepping up and calmly converting from the penalty spot. 🎯⚽️

Plenty of positives to take from today and another good performance to build on. 💪🏼🟡⚫️

A tough morning for the lads against a strong Clydesdale side.

The boys played some really good football in spells and showed what they’re capable of, but we just couldn’t find the consistency over the course of the game. Clydesdale put together some well-worked passages of play and were clinical when opportunities came their way.

Plenty for the boys to take from today, and plenty to keep working on. We learn, we improve and we go again. 💪🏼

Saturday morning sees the Blacks back at Brancumhall as we take on Clydesdale Football Academy 2015’s ⚽️

The squad have put the work in during the week and now it’s time to take that onto the pitch. Plenty of effort, communication and teamwork from the first whistle 🫡
