Answers to FAQs About Blackpool Pride’s Finances.
We’d like to respond to some of the questions we’ve seen on our social media regarding our finances and provide some clarification.
As a registered charity, our accounts are published annually on the Charity Commission website at the end of each financial year. We have recently published our full 2025 accounts, and our 2026 accounts will be published in the same way once our current financial year has ended.
In line with Charity Commission regulations, our accounts are also independently examined by an external examiner before they are submitted. You can view all of our published accounts in full on the Charity Commission website by searching for Blackpool Pride Festival Charity.
The Blackpool Pride Festival Charity Committee is made up entirely of unpaid volunteers who freely give their time to organise and deliver the festival.
Every pound we receive through fundraising events, sponsorship, donations and ticket sales goes directly towards delivering Blackpool Pride Festival and covering the costs of providing a safe, inclusive and high-quality event for our community.
We would once again like to thank everyone who donated, sponsored, fundraised and purchased tickets for this year’s event. Without your incredible support, it would simply not be possible to deliver an event of this size for our community. Your generosity and belief in what we do make Blackpool Pride Festival possible.
We remain committed to being open, transparent and accountable, and we thank everyone who continues to support Blackpool Pride Festival Charity.
