Temporary Service Update

We want to let you know that we experienced further technical issues affecting our email, Microsoft Teams, and phone systems on 11, 12 and 13 June.

We worked with Microsoft on Saturday to identify and resolve the problem, and the service is now hopefully back to normal.

We understand how important our service is for many of our listeners, and we are very sorry for any disruption this may have caused.

If you continue to experience any issues, please let us know so we can look into it straight away.

Thank you for your patience and continued support.

Thank You to Our Volunteer Readers – A Full Week of Voices

A huge thank you to our volunteer readers this week.
Behind every day’s recordings is a large team of dedicated volunteers, working together across multiple newspapers and sections.

This week:

Over 20 volunteers are contributing across the schedule
Recordings are happening every weekday
Content is being produced across four different publications

Our volunteers are:

Reading news, sport, opinion, business, culture, and more
Supporting different titles including Herald Scotland, Glasgow Times, The National, and Kirkintilloch Herald
Helping ensure a consistent daily service for listeners

This is a true team effort. Volunteers work across different days, roles, and publications to make sure content is always available.
Once recorded, podcasts are compiled and uploaded during the week so listeners can access them quickly.

Update: Services Restored ✅
Thank you for your patience over the past few days.
From Thursday into the weekend, we experienced an issue that affected our email, Microsoft Teams, and access to shared files. This made it difficult for us to stay in touch and keep things running as normal.
We’re pleased to confirm that everything is now back up and running.
Over the weekend, Alastair worked closely with Microsoft Support to identify the problem and put a fix in place. The issue was linked to a subscription setting that needed to be manually reactivated.
✅ Email is now working
✅ Teams is back online
✅ Files are accessible again
We understand how important reliable communication is for everyone involved in Cue and Review, and we are taking steps to reduce the risk of this happening again.
Thank you again for your support and understanding – it really is appreciated.

Temporary Service Update
We want to let you know that we are currently experiencing a technical issue affecting our email and Teams systems.
This means:

Some emails may not be coming through
We may not be able to respond as quickly as usual
Some of our internal systems are temporarily unavailable

The issue is related to a recent system change and is not a security issue. No data has been lost.
We are working with Microsoft support to resolve this as quickly as possible, and we expect services to return shortly.
In the meantime:

Please bear with us while we restore normal service
Urgent matters can be raised through our usual alternative contact routes where possible

Thank you for your patience and understanding.
