🐾 Meet Pepper 🐾
Pepper is a gorgeous, gentle little boy with a huge personality waiting to come out. He’s still learning that humans can be trusted, so he can be quite nervous and easily frightened — particularly when people are standing up or moving around. He isn’t quite ready to be a confident lap cat just yet, but he is already showing us just how incredibly sweet he is.
When you’re sitting or lying down and giving him time to approach on his own terms, Pepper will sometimes happily accept strokes. He’s also very, very vocal and loves to chirp, meow and have little conversations with you. It’s one of the sweetest things about him!
Pepper is an absolute social butterfly when it comes to other cats. He is very friendly with cats, loves to play with them and really enjoys their company, so he will need a home with a young, friendly cat who can be his companion and help him continue building his confidence. He particularly loves playing with his feather toy and will happily zoom around chasing it.
He is also a very affectionate and sociable little boy at heart. He absolutely adores his mum and has always wanted to be close to her, seeking out her company and affection. Although he’s now becoming more independent, that same need for companionship is still very much part of his personality.
Pepper will need an adopter who understands that trust takes time. He needs patience, gentle handling and the freedom to come out of his shell at his own pace. He may not immediately show you how affectionate he can be, but we really believe that once he feels safe and secure, there is a very loving little cat underneath all that nervousness.
For the right person, watching Pepper grow in confidence will be incredibly rewarding. He is sweet, gentle, playful, chatty and absolutely gorgeous, and we know that with time and patience he has so much love to give. ❤️
