Please share and share.

Wishing we had a symbol that was as prevalent as the rainbow supporting the NHS during lockdown so that everyone could see there is kindness and support in the community, despite the prevailing distress and rage.

Justice must be done and grievances must be responded to but violence only begets more violence, more pain, endless revenge.

Please share this call for justice and calm.

Please share - we need a mature, clear eyed response to the horrendously violent attack in Belfast last night.

Violence doesn't solve violence.

There is no justice in collective punishment.

We must demand a response based in justice, wisdom and balance.

We must protect our hard working neighbours who keep our NHS services and care services and so many other areas of life afloat, and not tolerate violence directed at them because of rage against one violent perpetrator.

Another week goes by, more bombings of homes, of tents, more news reports of children losing lives and limbs... the idea that this is a ceasefire is an insult to our intelligence.

If you feel strongly that something is wrong in the way that the modern world is just standing by, as these military assaults on civilians are barely reported by the mainstream news, then stand with us.

Every Sunday at 1:30pm, corner of Main Street and Central Avenue.

We are standing to indicate it's not flags that we tie our allegiance to, but the right of every human life to have dignity and justice.
And we're crying out for an international order that stops regarding people as disposable in the narrative of those in power.

We can't just go about with business as usual, we hold two minutes silence to demonstrate our ability to empathise. And we hope you will too.

Stand with us.

When the news cycle moves on, and yet families are still struggling to have something that resembles their familiar lives under canvas, it's all the more important to stand together.

We want to show we care, that we want the borders to be opened, the medicine and humanitarian aid that sits stacked at the borders to be let in, and the people that need medical evacuations let through. Otherwise people will just keep dying of malnutrition and preventable disease.

We cannot let this slip out of the minds of our politicians. The solutions are all there, it's the political will that is holding the humanitarian relief back. We stand in a peaceful demonstration of our deep distress at the lack of the political will to act with compassion, and change the lives of so many ordinary civilian families wrecked by war, in Gaza, Lebanon, Iran and everywhere our government has influence.

Stand with us. Write, with us, to our politicians. 1.30pm middle of Main Street.
