Banbridge Youth Resource Centre - BYRC

30/10/2026

Here is this week’s round-up at Banbridge Youth Resource Centre - BYRC !💫
A massive welcome to our new members who joined us this week. Our young people were truly living out our centre vision over the last few days. They cooked up a storm for their peers and thoroughly enjoyed making the most of our creative, social, and music spaces.
We also hosted our big Halloween party 🥳, which was packed with games, prizes, and pumpkin painting. A huge thank you goes out to everyone who dressed up for the occasion and brought the Halloween spirit!
Meanwhile, our intermediates had a fantastic first T:BUC evening with an educational visit to Tullygally Youth Centre . They had the chance to meet other youth groups in the programme, worked incredibly hard through their team-building exercises, and had a brilliant time doing it: roll on next week!
To top the week off, our intermediates and seniors made their way to the Epicentre tonight for Fright Night. Safe to say, a few hearts were racing during the event! Thank you so much to everyone who participated and to our amazing staff team for making it all possible.
Have a happy and Safe Halloween Weekend !

Another Action-Packed Week at BYRC!

We have had another fantastic week filled with fun, teamwork, and creativity, where our young people worked incredibly hard to embrace every element of our vision—from lifting each other up when someone needed a hand to getting stuck into Halloween decorating.

We had Brenton in from Creative Arts and Digital Innovation Team to speak to our young people thier podcast...watch this space ...

A massive thank you goes out to David McKay from Tesco for donating a great selection of pumpkins, which allowed us to enjoy some delicious roasted pumpkin seeds this week, and we now aim to make some soup and bread next week!

We also want to say a huge thank you to everyone who came along to our T:buc Parents Information Evening, to all our amazing staff, and to everyone who supports the centre.

👋Don't forget that our very first EV for T:BUC is taking place next Wednesday! 🙌

Monday we have Our Halloween Party! 🥳
See you then.
