So this morning the members of LOL 637 officially opened the anniversary arch (140 years) that the Carson Women's Group alongside local kids made in the run up to the 12th.
The lodge members were delighted with it as it sits pride of place at the lodge room door in the orange hall.
Well done to the women of the group and all the kids who were involved in this project.

🧹🌿 COMMUNITY CLEAN-UP | 09/07/26 🌿🧹
We have arranged a Community Clean-Up for Thursday 9th July and would like to invite local residents, businesses, community groups, churches, and the loyal orders to come along and get involved.

We are hopeful that Mid and East Antrim Borough Council will also be able to support us on the day.

This initiative is about more than just cleaning our streets - it is also an opportunity to build stronger community relationships while continuing our focus on restoring pride in our local area.

A free BBQ lunch will be provided for all volunteers afterwards.

We will be able to supply some equipment, but if anyone can bring their own brushes, shovels, hoes, or litter pickers, it would be greatly appreciated.

We will meet at The Carson Centre, 176 Queen Street, at 9:45am for a short briefing before beginning work. The clean-up will run until 1:00pm, followed by the BBQ lunch.

If you are unable to attend but would still like to help in another way, please do not hesitate to get in touch via DM to this page or by contacting Gary Lamont on 07745 027121.

To help with catering arrangements, please let us know if you or your group plan to attend.

We look forward to bringing everyone together, working side by side to make a real difference and improve our community.
