Sean McAlonan Memorial Truck & Tractor Run Remembering Sean each year with what Sean (Scooby) loved best in life 🚚🚜🀠 Thanks for taking the time for visiting Seans (Scooby) page.

Everybody who knew Sean experienced his genuine character, his mischievous smile and his infectious passion for trucking (living the dream). Anyone would be incredibly proud to call this young man their son, grandson, nephew and or friend. Tragically Sean lost his life on 25th November 2018 at 21 years old, he will forever live on in the people who love him. We would like to commemorate Sean’s ann

iversary this year by having a memorial truck run with his lorry leading the convoy. So truckers sign up and get polishing as Sean will be the only judge. This Event will be raising much needed funds to support Marie Curie. Given the choice, most of us would want to die peacefully at home. Marie Curie Nurses make this possible offering free nursing care to people with all terminal illnesses, as well as support for family and friends. So please donate proudly to this worthy charity.

To all the truckers and farmers who travelled from far and wide; to the Marshalls, charity volunteers, photographers, videographers, businesses and to all the supporters around Ballycastle and Armoy β€” your effort and generosity have not gone unnoticed. I would like to say a massive THANK YOU to each and every one of you for making Sean’s memorial truck and tractor run such a great success this year.
A special thank you to my family and friends for all your help in making it happen on Sean’s 7th anniversary. Sean would have been absolutely delighted with the incredible show of vehicles β€” he would have been in his element. I truly felt he was shining down on us, as the sun broke through and kept the rain away for another year.

I will update soon with the total amount raised for the three charities, as I am still receiving donations as of today.

Together we’re keeping Sean’s memory and dream alive - today, tomorrow and forever πŸ’™
