We would like to say a huge huge THANK YOU to the Coop Auchterarder for their very generous donation of £250. Collecting the cheque down at the store today on behalf of the RDA Auchterarder (Pictured L-R) Jack, Laura and Sandra (RDA), Team Leader Struan (Coop), Beth (RDA) and Store Manager Raymond.
The Coop already partner with a very well known national charity Barnardo’s, however on top of this each store has access to the local community fund, a Coop initiative where each store can apply on behalf of local groups for funding … this helps buy essential equipment and makes life’s for some better. These donations can be in monetary form or stock. Last year the Auchterarder store alone helped four organisations and this year given we are only in April have already handed out three cheques and we are one of the very lucky one’s - THANK YOU so so much Raymond, Struan and the rest of the team. This amount is going into a pot to buy another four legged fury so we can provide extra places at our sessions for even more children to benefit from with our amazing horses and ponies.
As well as the store, would like to thank one of our volunteers Cat, who also works part time at the Coop. If it wasn’t for this lady we wouldn’t be in this very fortunate position today collecting this generous cheque. Cat’s suggestion which materialised into the initial enquiry and her perseverance got it over the line - Thank you 💜
