All we can say is WOW WOW WOW!!

What a fantastic day we had at the Atherstone Big Weekender yesterday.

We have some thank yous to make!

Thank you to:

All of the ladies who stopped by our stall outside the Red Lion to chat with us about what we do;

All of the ladies who paused and chatted with our ladies handing out information in the street;

All of the children who came and had a go and building a hat at the stall;

All of the shops who entered our design and make a hat competition;

The Red Lion Hotel for letting use their awning and the space at the front of the hotel;

The ladies looking after the stall all day - Jayne Webb, Marina Kitchen, Maureen Warner, Sue Baker, Hazel Clark, Gill Haylor, KayDavey, Lavinia Colclough & Gill Fellows!

Moving on to congratulations....

Congratulations go to the winners of the hat competitions:

Maia - aged 9yrs
Autum Rose - ages 6yrs.
The shop that won the competition for the best hat in the window was Esther Doriee.

Good afternoon everyone!

Don't forget to come and see us this Sunday between 10am and 4pm at the Atherstone Big Weekender!

We will have our stall just at the front of the Red Lion Hotel.

Also don't forget, we're running a Design & Make a Hat Competition for all ages, bring ope tyour entry to the stall to enter.

Come and have a chat with the lovely ladies looking after the stall and find out what the WI is all about.
