Been seen in the community. Leaders helped with Atherstone's very successful Big Weekender and some of our beavers joined in with the photo this evening of Atherstone's bid for city of culture.

We have been grateful to so many people who have supported our group with fundraising and grants over the last 12 months. Ellen and her team at CAVA helped us gain a grant from the Social Fabric Fund. Dave Piper and his team at Piper and Meaks with building works, to upgrade our Headquarters, including disabled accessible toilets, essential repairs, upgrades and redecoration. The new town mayor of Atherstone, Jacky Chambers, in one of her first duties, has officially opened them new facilities, along with Mejar Gill, Sara Bishop and others who've supported us along the way.

Anyone who's claimed this year's Planters vouchers from paying for their green bin. If you're not going to use April's free gift of a set of gardening gloves please can 1st Atherstone Scout Group have them. Can you either drop the voucher in the letter box at the front of our hq, or if your going to Planters hand your voucher in at reception an they will give you a FREE pair of gloves like these. The smaller the better for our youth members please. Many thanks. Happy to collect the gloves or vouchers from anyone.
