Being a parent or carer of a child with SEND can be rewarding, but it can also be exhausting. Take some time for yourself and join us for a relaxing pamper session designed to help you unwind, recharge, and connect with other parents who understand the journey.

On Sunday, we conducted an exclusive Cycle circuit for our beautiful enthusiastic kids. A huge thank you to everyone who attended the session! 🚴‍♀️🚴‍♂️

These fantastic sessions are run weekly by Tameside Cycling Circuit, Active Tameside, and details can be found on their app and website.

Despite the unpredictable weather, we carried on and had a great time. Most importantly, it was wonderful to see the children enjoying themselves, building confidence, and having lots of fun on the bikes!

Thank you to Hannah from Early Help Tameside for sharing such valuable insights and information with us. Your explanation of the support available for children, young people, and families highlighted the importance of early intervention, partnership working, and accessible support for everyone.

As parents of children with additional needs, planning outings often come with a fear of the unknown. Every family approaches this differently—some choose to avoid social gatherings, some leave the children at home with the other parent, and others take on the challenge of bringing them along and participating.

The purpose of these outings is to create opportunities for the whole family to feel included and supported. While it can be overwhelming and is never easy for parents, the rewards are invaluable.

This weekend, all the children were absolutely amazing. Seeing them excited, happy, and pleasantly tired at the end of the day made it all worthwhile.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the day a success. We look forward to hearing your feedback and suggestions as we plan future events and trips.
