3rd Ashford (St Matthews) Scout Group 3rd Ashford (St. Matthew's) Scout Group We are a thriving Scout group located in Ashford, Middlesex catering for boys and girls aged 6 years to 18 years.

Our young people enjoy a variety of activities from learning about trails and knots to enjoying their first camping experience. Other activites include climbing, kayaking, air rifle shooting, archery and many many more. Our Beavers section meets on Monday nights from 6-7pm. Our Cubs section meets on Tuesday nights from 6.30-8pm. Our Scouts section meets on Wednesday nights from 7-8.45pm.

The Scouts had a great evening checking out animal habitats and taking photos of nature around the park.

This afternoon a small selection of our Scouts and Explorers from Drake Unit were asked to attend a special ceremony at Westminster Abbey along with the Chief Volunteer from Northern Ireland to mark Founder’s Day and place a wreath on the Baden Powell memorial. They were also lucky enough to get a private tour of the Abbey as well before the service.
Thank you to Rob, Tamsin and Nigel for giving up your Saturday to allow for this opportunity. Well done everyone 💕
