On Saturday Cecilia played host to a very special, surprise birthday trip.

Carole asked if we could help her to organise this, so we kept everything secret until Saturday morning.
The boat was specially decorated and Martyn had a delicious cake for the occasion.
It was “A day to remember “ as commented on the feedback form.

This weeks trip with Leapgate took us from Tardebigge Bottom Lock all the way back to Tardebigge Top Lock.
It was the first time any of the group had experienced being on the boat going through the locks, and although not everyone was able to be in the photo, they all had a brilliant time.

Something different this week - we welcomed members of staff and volunteers from Primrose Hospice for a team “away day”.
We started and finished at the Queens Head and the day was a mixture of team activity as well as enjoying the journey.
There was also time to celebrate one of the team’s special birthday….
