WOW! Our age 10+ HomeEds and their grown ups impress me every single week! We got SO much done yesterday... you are SUCH a tribe... your communication, team work, consideration and trust shines through with everything that you do!

We spent time with our animals, and made sure all their needs are being met during this hot weather; including filling Horace's wallow, (which he uses to cover himself in natural 'sunscreen' (π©π€£π©) once the temperature exceeds 22Β°C)... and he was straight in there, then came to everyone for smelly cuddles! π€£

We also started washing wellies! A strange activity, you may think, but we have about 50 pairs of donated wellies, that have been worn by Forest School learners, so they need a good wash... this activity turned into a bit of a foam party, but it was SO much fun, and wellies were clean at the end of it!

We went into the woodland and processed down some magnolia branches... the goats can have the foliage and we can use the branches for activities and den building. Again, super collaboration and team work here!

We made spinner sticks, and then we played some woodland team games... our trust rope ring of steel was brilliant, and our 'moss ball' circle game was SO much fun, and absolute mayhem, but such an excellent team game, which proved to be a fantastic confidence building exercise, for those who were reluctant to play, initially.

Another truly wonderful afternoon, and grown ups were busy planning other excursions out together, while their young learners were occupied with our activities! Thank you so much, Team Wednesday, you are SUCH a tribe! π₯°πͺπ₯°πͺπ₯°πͺπ₯°πͺπ₯°πͺπ₯°πͺ
