Autumn is one of the best seasons for creative outdoor learning, and our amazing Toddlers and Home Eds have foraged for and used all the autumn colours that nature provides to make stick and leaf 'bonfires', some fantastic blow-painting bonfire and fireworks pictures this week, and today, we made an amazing leaf spiral 'firework' land art picture in the woodland! You are all SO creative, and your initiative and independent / individual techniques have been truly inspirational!

We like these types of fireworks much better than the noisy ones, and the goats loved our work so much, that they tried to eat it!

We also had lots of time with our animals, and the generosity of passers by, as well as our HomeEd families, in bringing pumpkins and apples for the animals this week, has been truly amazing! Thank you everyone! It's been a lot of fun watching our pigolescents devour even the toughest little pumpkins! One amazing couple walked all the way from Shirland with a barrow full of windfall apples! Our animals have such a lot of community support, thank you everyone! ❤️

Halloween is over, half term is over, and we're now well into the autumn season, with the trees shedding their leaves and producing some amazing autumn treasures!

This time of year is SO beautiful with all the colours and crisp, chilly sunny days, and evenings snuggled in all warm and cosy!

Dottie and all our animals would love to see you all this week... we have a few spaces left in all our sessions as follows:

☆ Monday - Toddlers 10 am til 12 noon
☆ Monday - mixed ages - 1 til 3 pm
☆ Wednesday - mixed ages - 1 til 3 pm
☆ Thursday - mixed ages - 1 til 3 pm

Come and join us... we'll be foraging for autumn treasures and making 'land art' pictures at the ALC and in the woodland... come and get creative!

We've had an absolutely fantastic week of half term sessions this week... with spooky shenanigans in the woodland, and lots of Halloween themed activities at the ALC... We have had SO much fun with our wonderful loyal families, as well as several new recruits, and some who have joined our sessions on their half term break.

Our gorgeous ghosties in the woodland created SO much fun and laughter, and everyone joined in the fun with enthusiasm and a real theatrical flair! We've included a couple of 'special effect' photos, that bring out
a really spooky atmospheric vibe... the woodland wasn't quite misty enough to create this naturally!

We also had time for our gorgeous animals, and lots of jobs were completed happily and willingly.
