WHAT DOES THE BIBLE TEACH? 📖

Religion is often brought into conversations about our values, our country and how other people should live.

But if we're going to quote the Bible, shouldn't we be willing to listen to all of what it teaches?

Love your neighbour.
Welcome the stranger.
Care for the poor.
Reject hatred.
Show compassion.
Don't discriminate.
Don't judge people by appearances.
Accept one another.
Seek peace.

You can't use faith as a reason to judge or exclude people while quietly skipping over the parts that tell us to love, welcome and care for them.

Faith shouldn't be something we selectively quote when it supports what we already believe.

So over the next few weeks, we're going to share some of the Bible's own words.

No political interpretation. No rewriting them to make a point.

Just the verses.
