The Hygiene Bank - North Wales Hello! We are a new branch of the nationwide Hygiene Bank (registered charity 1181267) and are on a mission to help end hygiene poverty in the North Wales area.

The Hygiene Bank - Abergele is part of the national Charity "The Hygiene Bank"

At The Hygiene Bank, we believe it is not right that feeling clean should be a luxury or a privilege for anyone in our society, yet many are living in poverty and cannot afford to stay clean. That is why our network of projects exists – to give people access to the basics they need. We are a grassroots, people-powered

charity and social movement, grounded in community. Our passion stems from the injustice that people may be unable to fully participate in society due to hygiene poverty. This is why we work to inspire social change.

Today, our Project Co-Ordinator Mark made the journey to Penygroes to welcome our newest Community Partner, Yr Orsaf:

We are delighted to be working with an organisation that is so deeply committed to supporting local people through a wide range of services and activities.

Partnerships like this help us reach more people experiencing hygiene poverty, ensuring essential products get to those who need them, where they need them.

Many thanks to Soroptimist International Rhyl & District for inviting us to talk at their meeting this evening. It was lovely to meet you all and talk about the work that we do, also thanks again for the donations they're gratefully recieved.

Hello! You may be wondering who we are - we're still the same group behind "The Hygiene Bank - Abergele", but to better reflect the geographical area we cover we're now known as "The Hygiene Bank - North Wales"!

Debbie and Mark are still in charge of the project, so you'll still see our familiar faces, but now under a different name!

It’s almost time! 🌸

Our Spring Fayre is this Saturday at Yr Hen Ysgol — and we can’t wait to welcome you!

A quick note: please don’t arrive before 10:00am, as our stallholders will be busy setting up.

We’ve extended our opening hours by 2 hours, so there’s plenty of time to browse — no need to rush!

We’re now fully booked with stalls, and it’s shaping up to be a fantastic Fayre.

👉 Look out for the honey stall outside Yr Hen Ysgol — that’s how you’ll find us!
