This coming Wednesday, October 25th, we welcome as a 'guest' our long-term friend, Tim Brooks.

Tim is a singer, guitarist and fiddler. His solo repertoire is a mix of traditional or traditional-style songs and fiddle tunes, mostly from the British Isles, but with other influences mixed in.

His songwriting credits include "Down in the Dark" (aka "Old Brock"), "The Devil in York" and "So Far From Home", all of which have been performed and recorded by several other artists such as The Wilderness yet, Jim Mageean and the late, great, Johnny Collins. Most of his songs have great choruses, so come prepared to sing!

Expect Robins, Pigs and Badgers, amongst other characters, so arrive early, in case they take all the best seats.

Looking forward to this!

So pairing Bob with one of....

Paul Hutchinson (accordion) and Paul Sartin (oboe, violin and vocals), “one of folk’s odd couples”, have for nearly 25 years wowed audiences around Europe, The States and Australia, with virtuoso musicianship tempered by wry humour.
