Practice Theater at Moulin Jaune presents a Laboratory of Creative Awakening
At the spring equinox, when nature awakens and the days grow brighter, it is time to awaken imagination.
From March 22 to 28, 2026, Moulin Jaune will host a week-long creative laboratory based on the Michael Chekhov Technique.
This immersive program is led by Joerg Andrees - actor, director, and founder of the Michael Chekhov International Academy (MCIA) in Berlin, who has been teaching the technique around the world for more than 40 years.
The central theme of the week is imagination.
As Michael Chekhov wrote: “Imagination is the primary source of creativity. Without it, neither art nor a living human life is possible.”
This laboratory is open to actors, performers, artists and creators of all professions - anyone curious to explore their creative potential through the body and imagination.
*The program includes:*
• six days from 10.00 to 19.00
• psychophysical training
• work with the body, movement, imagination
• improvisation, play, creative processes
• individual, partner, and group work
• creative project developed by the end of the week
