HOUSING AUTHORITY & NASINU TOWN COUNCIL STRENGTHEN PARTNERSHIP

The and Nasinu Town Council have formalised a partnership through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signed on Thursday, 27 August 2026, at the Housing Authority Boardroom, Level 5, Valelevu.

The MOU was signed by Mr John Tuiono, Special Administrator Nasinu Town Council, and Mr Isikeli Navuda, Chief Executive Officer of the Housing Authority.

The MOU seeks to strengthen cooperation between the two organisations in delivering social housing solutions and urban development projects in Nasinu, through improved coordination, information and data sharing, technical expertise and the sharing of resources. It will also promote Gender Equality, Disability and Social Inclusion (GEDSI) and climate-resilient approaches in programmes undertaken jointly by the two organisations.

Through this partnership, the Housing Authority and Nasinu Town Council reaffirm their commitment to working together to improve housing, infrastructure and the overall wellbeing of communities in Nasinu.

was proud to participate in the combined choir with the Public Rental Board (PRB) and the Ministry of Housing during the Methodist Church in Fiji and Rotuma Conference held at the Vodafone Arena in Suva.

This marks a special milestone as it is the first time ever that PRB Housing Authority and the Ministry of Housing have come together as one choir.

The Housing Authority delivered 267 fully serviced residential lots and completed 101 ready-built model homes during the 2025/2026 financial year, as government works to expand affordable housing and home ownership opportunities for Fijians.

He made the statement recently while appearing before the Standing Committee on Social Affairs on the proposed Public Health Amendment Bill 2026.
