We have completed safeguarding talanoa for 800+ youths.

Caritas Fiji was privileged to facilitate a Safeguarding talanoa at the Central/Eastern Rally, held on the 14th and 15th of May at St John the Apostolic Parish, Natovi.

The rally theme this year was “Take courage- Rise in Christ”

The talanoa that we had with the Youths focused on strengthening awareness, encouraging open dialogue, and promoting the shared responsibility of creating safe and respectful spaces within communities and the Church.

Caritas Fiji is proud to be part of the Youth Rally from the 13th–15th of May. We took an opportunity to listen and deliver a Safeguarding session for youths assembled under this year’s theme: “Rise Above – Empowered Choices for a Drug-Free Future.”

This year’s Northern Rally brings together seven parishes:
St. Andrew's Parish, Savarekareka, Savusavu
St Annes Parish, Napuka.
IMMACULATE CONCEPTION PARISH SOLEVU
Holy Cross Parish, Wairiki Taveuni.
Our Lady of the Holy Rosary Parish, Nabala
Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Rabi.
Holy Family Parish, Labasa

The rally shines a spotlight on the vital role of young people in building safer communities, making empowered choices, and leading positive change for the future.
