Today, the Fiji Scouts Association, through the Messengers of Peace (MoP) Teamand dedicated Rover Scouts, officially launched the Inclusive Leadership Program under the Global Youth Mobilization (GYM) Program.
This initiative aims to empower children and persons with disabilities by developing their leadership skills and encouraging them to become active leaders within their schools, communities, and Scout Groups.
The first phase of the program will reach approximately 100 participants with disabilities, with additional phases planned to expand the program to other communities across Fiji. Participants will benefit from a combination of face-to-face and online training, equipping them with practical leadership skills, confidence, and opportunities to make a positive difference in their communities.
The Fiji Scouts Association believes that leadership is for everyone, and this initiative reinforces our commitment to creating an inclusive Scouting movement where every young person has the opportunity to lead, serve, and thrive.
