The African Women's Entrepreneurship Program - Ethiopia Chapter (AWEP Ethiopia) is connected with different AWEP chapters in the African continent as well as with concerned AWEP coordinators, USA. AWEP Ethiopia since its inception in 2010 by US State Department has embarked on a range of and productive endeavors aimed at empowering women entrepreneurs at all levels. Among other things, we provide

multiple expertise supports to our members and beyond on vital areas of finance, business development, accounting and marketing. Currently, AWEP has over one hundred entrepreneur members who have established business of their own on fast progressing sectors of textile, leather, manufacturing and service to mention few. The office has also recently launched ground breaking initiatives as part of an ongoing effort to reach out, boost membership, make available even more abundant specialized and tailor-made business and related others council, coaching, and empowerment to AWEP’s members in particular and women in general in various ways.
