We are so proud of our amazing Year 12 St Yared students, each student has successfully completed the exam, which, for the first time ever was conducted online. Currently the students are spending their time researching potential Universities and available courses, while they all eagerly await their results. We feel confident they will all achieve excellent results, allowing each of them to enroll into University. This marks the beginning of an incredibly bright future for them and their families.🌟

My message to each student…Your hard work, dedication and commitment to overcome all the obstacles before you, has made the staff and sponsors of St Yared students incredibly satisfied.

🎉 Grade 8 National Exam Results Are Out! 🎉

We are proud to share the achievements of our incredible Grade 8 students! Out of 24 students, 23 have successfully passed the national exam 👏

🌟 3 students scored above 94% – an outstanding achievement that shows true dedication and excellence.
🌟 3 more students scored above 85%, showing strong academic performance.
🌟 The remaining students scored between 60% and 70%, a solid effort we are equally proud of.

Unfortunately, one student didn’t pass this time — but we believe in second chances and are here to support them to come back stronger.

We are deeply proud of all our students for their hard work, determination, and growth. Thank you to our dedicated teachers, supportive parents, and the entire school community for making this possible.

Celebrating Success!

Neima Shemsu started at St Yared in kindergarten as part of our second intake and has always been a diligent student, well liked by her peers and teachers. In her studies, she arrived to excel and was a high achiever constantly being one of the top performers in her class.

Now she is not only studying Mechanical Engineering at Addis Ababa University, but also undertaking a Financial Accounting course at CPU college. She is balancing the two demanding study programs while trying to overcome transport issues and navigating the many construction sits between the two campuses. And to top it off, she is achieving great results is all subjects.

Neima does all this with grace, courage and deep hunger for knowledge. She is living proof that Brad work, opportunity and support can open many doors.

We all are pros to have been part of her journey and we can’t wait to see all that she will accomplish.

Celebrating Success!

We are incredibly proud of Kalkidan Desalgn, who studied at our school from kindergarten (KG), as part of the first student intake, to year 12. Today, she is a 3rd year Computer Science student at CPU College and we couldn’t be more excited to see the amazing path she is walking!

Kalkidan has always been known for her strong work ethic, determination, and kind spirit. The student-centered approach to learning. Employed at St Yareds provided ample opportunities for debate and collaboration, skills which are now assisting Kalkidan further her education. Watching her grow from a young learner into a confident, capable young woman has been an inspiration to all of us.

She is living proof that with dedication and faith, dreams really do come true. We are certain she has a bright future ahead in the world of technology and beyond!

Journey of Excellence!

We are incredibly proud of Alazar Abebe who has been part of our school family from kindergarten through year 12. From the beginning, he stood out for his excellence as a student. His natural intelligence and inquisitiveness were reflected in his outstanding academic performance. Alazar also displayed an exemplary character and helpfulness.

Today, Alazar is a 3rd year civil engineering student at Addis Ababa University. Despite his demanding study workload, he still makes time to give back, tutoring our current crop of students in Maths and Physics.

His dedication, humility and commitment to help others makes him a true role model. Alazar, we are proud of you and honoured to have been part of your journey. Keep reaching for the stars. You are an inspiration to all of us.

A Journey of Dedication

We are so proud to celebrate one of our shining star former students, Sena Hailu.

Sena began his journey with us in kindergarten during our first intake of students. He is now in his 2nd year studying Pharmacy at Yenet College.

His story is a true reflection of perseverance, discipline and the power of a quality education. From his earliest days in our classroom, Sena showed a strong commitment to learn and a kind heart toward others. While Sena had to work hard for his grades, he was often described as a role model because of his behavior and concern for others. Watching him grow into a young man with dreams and determination fills us with joy and hope for future.

To see a child from our school now pursuing higher education in the medical field is not only a personal achievement for him but a beautiful reminder of why we do what we do.

We wish Sena every success in the future!
