Cancer and its secondary effects affect everyone in different ways. MABS Cancer Foundation is a voluntary organisation with branches throughout Spain.

MABS Cancer Support Foundation offers support, counselling, translators, equipment, drivers, escorts and complementary therapy to cancer patients in the region. We are able to allay fears and concerns that may occur during and after treatment. The San Javier branch was born in July 2007 and has helped many cancer patients and their families since. We continue to do this with the help of our excell

ent volunteers. We cover a large area, from Pilar de la Horadada, down to Cartagena and La Manga, and up to Murcia and its suburbs.

A huge thankyou to everyone at K’s Coffee bar, Lo Santiago for hosting the disco and BBQ on Saturday evening. Thank you to MABS volunteer Sue Rose for all her hard work and other volunteers who helped. Thank you to the DJ for his fantastic music and of course a huge Thankyou to everyone who attended the event which from all reports was a huge success. A massive 1025 euros was raised which will help our cancer patients in the local area

A huge thank you to everyone who attended the BBQ at La Zona on Saturday night we raised a huge 1020 euros which is a fantastic amount to help our cancer patients.
