This little guy Colin usually starts crowing about 4am and then again at dawn. Then he goes back to bed for a nap and then waits at the gate for me around 8am. Nice life, until the clocks changed 😁. Yesterday morning he was still in bed at breakfast time and this morning, he must have been at the gate so long, he had fallen asleep sat up with his head slumped into his shoulders. He would like the link to a petition to stop the government messing with his body clock 😂

What a sad year we've had with losses and here's another one.
Poor old Billy passed away in his sleep.
He and Coco have been together 15 years but now she's on her own.
They've had 8 happy years here with us though and we're hoping Coco stays with us a lot longer.
Sleep well Billy.

We've had lots and lots of rain recently but everyone is managing to stay dry and warm.
Latte and TC have decided sharing is caring.

We don't know if you all remember that we are only fostering Malia from Asoka Orihuela- Página at the moment which is why we took her to see Laura, their vet.
After the verbal all clear we go the other day Laura sent us a very full update which was generally good but as a 12 y.o. dog it was never going to be perfect.
We're happy though because of how worried we had been.
Laura finished with this comment "I look forward to hearing from you, and I wanted to thank you for the excellent condition Malia is in and for the love that is clearly evident in the care she is receiving in your home."
We never fish for compliments but it's lovely when someone recognises what we do. We're not a kennels, our dogs live with us in our house, even when we had more than 20.

Some good news at last.
We were concerned about Malia's breathing and took her to the vet this morning.
She's not 100% as she's 12 but there's nothing to worry about.
So relieved, phew.
Pic is her in her favourite place when we got back😍

Just a few photos from over the years.
We've got loads more if you want to see them.
