انعقاد الاجتماع السنوي للمجموعة الاستشارية للمبادرة الدنماركية المصرية للحوار بمشاركة برنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي، وجمهورية مصر العربية، ومملكة الدنمارك لمراجعة التقدم المُحرَز خلال الفترة 2025–2026، وإقرار الأولويات للفترة المقبلة، والتأكيد على دور المبادرة كمختبر لابتكار الشباب ودعم التحول الأخضر، وكمنصة للحوار العابر للثقافات حول قضايا المناخ والسلام والأمن بين مصر والدنمارك.
وقد ضمّ الاجتماع كلًا من معالي السفير لارس بو مولر، سفير مملكة الدنمارك لدى مصر ورئيس المجموعة الاستشارية للمبادرة؛ ومعالي السفير محمد منير لطفي، سفير جمهورية مصر العربية لدى الدنمارك؛ والمستشار كريم إسماعيل، نائب مدير عام مركز القاهرة الدولي لتسوية النزاعات وحفظ وبناء السلام (CCCPA)؛ والسيدة تشيتوسي نوجوتشي، الممثلة المقيمة لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في مصر؛ ود. عبير شقوير، مساعدة الممثل المقيم لبرنامج الأمم المتحدة الإنمائي في مصر، ورئيسة فريق النمو الشامل والتحول الرقمي؛ إلى جانب الشركاء الاستراتيجيين والجهات المعنية.

UNDP, Egypt and Denmark convene at the Annual Advisory Group Meeting of the Danish-Egyptian Dialogue Initiative (DEDI) to review progress achieved in 2025–2026 and set priorities ahead, reaffirming DEDI’s role as a lab for youth innovation and green transition and a cross-cultural space for dialogue on climate, peace and security between Denmark and Egypt.
The meeting brought together H.E. Ambassador Lars Bo Moeller, Ambassador of Denmark to Egypt and Chair of the DEDI Advisory Group; H.E. Ambassador Mohamed Mounir Loutfy, Ambassador of Egypt to Denmark; Counselor Karim Ismail, Deputy Director-General of the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA); Ms. Chitose Noguchi, UNDP Egypt Resident Representative; and Dr. Abeer Shakweer, UNDP Egypt Assistant Resident Representative and Inclusive Growth and Digital Transformation Team Leader, alongside strategic partners and stakeholders.

UNDP Egypt Resident Representative met with H.E. Dr. Mohamed Farid, Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade, to discuss opportunities for strengthening cooperation on sustainable finance, impact investment, blended finance mechanisms, and private sector engagement in support of Egypt’s green transition.

The discussions explored innovative financing solutions to accelerate solar energy deployment in the industrial sector to reduce emissions and strengthen the competitiveness of Egyptian industry.

“Through technical assistance, capacity development, and innovative financing solutions, UNDP continues to support renewable energy adoption, sustainable industrial development, and increased private sector participation in achieving Egypt’s sustainable development priorities”, said Ms. Noguchi.

UNDP remains committed to working closely with the Government of Egypt and development partners to mobilize domestic and international finance, attract sustainable investments, and advance inclusive and sustainable economic growth.

Through , patients in remote areas can access specialized care closer to home, while local doctors connect seamlessly with expert teams in Cairo.

For complex medical needs like liver transplants, this means fewer exhausting journeys, faster medical decisions, and continuous follow-up care right within their communities.

Together with the Ministry of Communications and Information Technology and the Ministry of Health and Population, UNDP is leveraging digital transformation to bring healthcare closer to the people.

🧵 She founded Tashuqat, a sustainable handmade textile brand built on natural cotton, wool, needlepoint, and punch needle craftsmanship. Through it, women learn a craft, earn from home, and turn skill into confidence, identity, and self-expression.

👩‍👧 Today, the business is powered entirely by mothers who earn income from home while developing new skills and preserving local crafts.
