Park in Namysłów officially opened 🌿

On Friday, 12 June 2026, the revitalised Władysław Bartoszewski Park in Namysłów officially opened to the community, transforming a central part of the city into a vibrant green space designed to bring people of all ages together.

The true value of projects like this is not measured in pathways, benches or landscaping. It is measured in the moments that will happen here for years to come: conversations, laughter, celebrations, quiet walks and new memories.

Public spaces shape the way we experience our communities. When they are welcoming, accessible and connected to nature, they help strengthen wellbeing, belonging and social connections.

Congratulations to everyone whose vision, dedication and collaboration helped make this transformation possible. We are proud to see this space begin its next chapter in the hands of the people who will use and care for it every day.

W ostatni piątek, 12.06.2026 r., zrewitalizowany Park im. Władysława Bartoszewskiego w Namysłowie został oficjalnie udostępniony mieszkańcom, przekształcając centralną część miasta w tętniącą życiem zieloną przestrzeń, zaprojektowaną tak, by łączyć ludzi w każdym wieku.

Prawdziwej wartości takich projektów nie mierzy się ścieżkami, ławkami czy zagospodarowaniem terenu. Mierzy się ją chwilami, które będą się tu wydarzać przez lata, rozmowami, śmiechem, spotkaniami, spokojnymi spacerami i nowymi wspomnieniami.

Przestrzenie publiczne kształtują sposób, w jaki doświadczamy naszych społeczności. Gdy są przyjazne, dostępne i bliskie naturze, wzmacniają dobrostan, poczucie przynależności i relacje społeczne.

Gratulacje dla wszystkich, których wizja, zaangażowanie i współpraca umożliwiły tę przemianę. Z dumą patrzymy, jak to miejsce rozpoczyna nowy rozdział w rękach ludzi, którzy będą z niego korzystać i dbać o nie każdego dnia.

In the new film in The Movement series, Sophia, a colleague from VELUX A/S in Denmark, tries the “Media with intention” experiment. Like many of us, she wants to be more present in the moments that matter — especially in the morning with her children.

For 14 days, she limits news and social media to two fixed windows a day. Small digital boundaries begin to change the tone of her mornings — creating more space, less rush and more presence in everyday life.

[ KRIVÁŇ PROJECT, RECONNECT WITH NATURE ] Step by step, the restoration of the trail to Kriváň is moving forward. This meaningful project recommended by VELUX and carried out in collaboration with Hikemates brings together volunteers, local partners and support from the Employee Foundation of the VKR Group to help renew one of Slovakia’s most important hiking trails.

By improving the route and supporting more sustainable access, the project contributes to both visitor safety and the protection of the surrounding nature.

We are pleased to see the progress so far and look forward to the next steps.

[DARE TO DREAM HAS OFFICIALLY BEGUN] 50 children from 15 different countries have come together this week in Denmark for the DARE TO DREAM International Youth Camp for children of VKR Group employees.

Over the coming days, they will explore their strengths, build confidence, and learn more about themselves and one another through a series of guided exercises.

Led by highly skilled mentors from True North, the program creates a space for growth, connection, and new perspectives across cultures.

We are proud to support young people as they develop the skills, curiosity, and friendships that can shape their future.

𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗟𝗗 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗢𝗥 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗟𝗧𝗛 𝗔𝗧 𝗪𝗢𝗥𝗞

28 April marks the United Nations’ World Day for Safety and Health at Work—a global initiative promoting safe, healthy and decent work environments.

At the Employee Foundation of the VKR Group, we also celebrate safety at work, by each year conferring the 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗞𝗮𝗻𝗻-𝗥𝗮𝘀𝗺𝘂𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘁𝘆 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱 across the VKR Group on employees who have elevated safety practises, both within physical and psychological safety. Of the 7 award recipients in 2026, the HSE team at NB Polska Sp. z o.o. were honoured for having transformed occupational health, safety and environmental management from routine procedures into a deeply ingrained culture embraced throughout the organisation. As an example, they run creative safety-provocative actions on the shop floor, systematically organize professional first aid trainings and through continuous employee education they have succeeded in increasing safety improvements from 412 in 2021 to 1,145 in 2024.

Today’s observance is an important reminder that workplace safety also includes psychological safety. And the Employee Foundation of the VKR Group would like to acknowledge all colleagues who prioritize safety in their daily lives, both at work and in the home.

For Philip, even everyday moments like studying can be a challenge. He is a bright 10-year-old boy with ADHD. With the right support, small changes can make a meaningful difference. Through the Employee Foundation, he received tools that help him focus, feel calmer, and approach school with more confidence.
