oikos Copenhagen Shaping a sustainable society by enabling students to be responsible & regenerative leaders. Green Week is one of the largest student-led events in Copenhagen.

oikos Copenhagen is a student-led youth organisation and the organiser of Green Week at Copenhagen Business School. Our mission is to shape society by enabling students and young professionals to be responsible and regenerative leaders. We want to co-create inspirational moments, transformative experiences, an encouraging community and opportunities for perpetual growth. We seek to break with the

sentiments of "business as usual", as we channel interdisciplinarity, diversity and inclusion to accelerate us into a just and sustainable future. We leverage 20 years of existence, network and relationships and channel them into our projects. Our shared values of community, commitment and collaboration guide us in all our activities. We seek to inspire and encourage individuals to shape a sustainable society through their actions and leadership. Therefore, Green Week is a forum for stakeholders across all of society to meet, discuss, and exchange about trends and developments within sustainability, enhance personal transformative capabilities, as well as providing networking and career exploration opportunities.

🌱 Things may have seemed quiet lately, but that’s only because a lot is happening behind the scenes at Oikos Copenhagen!

We’re thrilled to be part of the Green Step initiative in collaboration with and generously supported by the Novo Nordisk Foundation. Together with Stine Broen Christensen, we’re shaping a clearer strategic direction for our student organization — including an annual plan and a recruitment strategy that will help us welcome new members in the best possible way.

💡 We also recently volunteered at the conference — an inspiring day where stakeholders came together to address key challenges in the green transition of the agrifood sector. We’re proud to have supported such an important event and excited to follow the impact of the work moving forward.
A big thank you to Linea Meldgaard Andersen and CBS Green Office for making our involvement possible! 🙌

Stay tuned — more updates coming soon🌍💚

Fresh Finds: Seasonal Produce Insights 👉 Discover our speakers ✨

Marked is a non-profit organization in Copenhagen dedicated to supporting small-scale Danish producers and bridging the gap between farms and the city. The organization's weekly markets are about promoting local and seasonal produce, building community, and challenging the existing industrial agricultural system and the impact that it has on our health and natural environment.

Jordbrug is a community farm on Western Sealand that uses regenerative practices to grow high quality produce and protect and promote soil health. The farm uses the "community supported agriculture" model, in which it is possible to buy a share of the farm's harvest and receive a weekly bag of fresh vegetables throughout the growing season. Farm members can also visit the farm for workdays and the annual harvest party.
