📢🤝 RomInDis Meeting Updates

✅ The RomInDis consortium held a productive partner meeting focused on wrapping up WP2 and preparing the next steps for WP3. Partners from Sweden, Spain, Greece, Romania, Germany and North Macedonia shared their contributions, reflected on the achieved results, and discussed how the outcomes of WP3 will guide the upcoming activities.

✅ Through the upcoming WP3 activities, the partnership will work on practical tools, training approaches and cooperation mechanisms that support better access to healthcare and improved inclusion for Roma people with physical disabilities ♿❤️

Together, we continue working for inclusion, accessibility and equal health opportunities for Roma communities. 🌍

📢 DICOMI Newsletter #5 is out!

The latest DICOMI newsletter highlights the project’s Evaluation Conference held on 14–15 May 2026 in Istanbul, Türkiye. Partners presented the project results at USOS-2026, shared experiences from teacher training and classroom implementation, and discussed how digital comics can support migration education, inclusion and empathy in schools.

The newsletter also presents the “Comics in Education” workshop and key reflections from the final project evaluation.

Meeting in Porto, Portugal 🇵🇹🇵🇹

☄We are pleased to share that the partners of the XXIAdults – Adaptation of the Adult Educational System to the XXI Century project are meeting in Porto, Portugal 🇵🇹, to discuss the progress, achievements, and next steps of the project.

⭕During the meeting, partners are reviewing the development of project results, including tools, strategies, and training resources designed to support adult education centres, educators, and adults with lower digital skills. The exchange also focuses on how adult education can be better adapted to the realities of the 21st century, including digital transformation, lifelong learning, and inclusion.

💥This transnational meeting provides an important opportunity for cooperation, planning, and sharing good practices among partners, ensuring that the project continues to deliver practical and meaningful results for adult learners across Europe.

📍On 14–15 May, the final conference of the DICOMI Project was held in Istanbul, as part of the 24th International Primary Teacher Education Symposium.

🔐The event brought together educators, researchers, project partners and stakeholders to present and discuss the main results of DICOMI, an Erasmus+ project focused on using digital comics as an innovative educational tool to support migrant children, strengthen social cohesion and promote respect for people displaced by war, especially from Ukraine and Syria.

☎️During the conference, the partnership shared the project’s key outcomes, educational materials and digital learning approaches developed throughout the implementation period. The event also provided an important opportunity to exchange experiences on inclusive education, digital storytelling, migration awareness and the role of teachers in creating safe, creative and welcoming learning environments.

✔️The final conference marked an important milestone for the DICOMI Project, highlighting the value of creativity, digital tools and international cooperation in supporting more inclusive and empathetic education across Europe.

🤝 IRMI took part of the PIPE TPM at Aalborg University in Copenhagen (12-13 May) where partners came together for two focused days of wrapping up final activities and planning the last steps of the project.
🚀 The commitment stays strong, with steady pace and shared focus on keep delivering meaningful results.
🌍💬 We reflected on great achievements supporting the integration of migrants in Germany, Greece, Italy, Spain, and Denmark, and the impact these deliverables continue to create.
