📚 From project experience to academic research: PIPE's impact goes beyond the project!

How can education contribute to building more inclusive communities and rethinking the way we approach migration and integration?
Through the PIPE project, researchers from the University of La Laguna have explored these questions, contributing to three academic publications on migration, intercultural education and the pedagogy of hospitality.

🌍 At the heart of their research is a simple but powerful idea: integration is a two-way process, where different experiences, cultures and perspectives come together through dialogue, mutual recognition and learning.
These publications show how the work developed within PIPE can go beyond project activities, inspiring new research and contributing to a wider academic discussion on education and social inclusion.

RomInDis – 2nd Transnational Project Meeting in Wuppertal, Germany! 🇩🇪

The RomInDis project partners came together in Wuppertal, Germany, for the 2nd Transnational Project Meeting (TPM), hosted by the Institute for Roma and Minorities Inclusion (IRMI).

The meeting provided an excellent opportunity for partners to review project progress, strengthen cooperation, and work together on finalising the WP3 tasks and training modules for Roma Health Mediators (RHM) and Health Professionals (HP).

📚 These training materials will play an important role in strengthening knowledge, skills, and capacities to improve access to healthcare and social services for Roma people with physical disabilities.

🚀 Once finalised, the modules will be used during the upcoming piloting activities in six partner countries:

🇲🇰 North Macedonia
🇸🇪 Sweden
🇬🇷 Greece
🇩🇪 Germany
🇷🇴 Romania
🇪🇸 Spain

Behind every great achievement stands a devoted team, countless hours of dedication, and a shared vision.

As the XXI Adult Project approaches its final stage, we are proud to see results that have exceeded expectations. Through piloting good practices and working closely with adult education centres, we have not only reached our target groups but also created meaningful impact and valuable learning opportunities.

This journey is nearing its end, but the results speak for themselves. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to making this project such a success. 💙

RomniCareer Project & Our First Online Kick-off Meeting! 🚀

We are pleased to share that the first online kick-off meeting of the RomniCareer Erasmus+ Project brought together partners from five European countries:

🇫🇮 Finland | 🇮🇹 Italy | 🇷🇸 Serbia | 🇩🇪 Germany | 🇲🇰 North Macedonia

💻 During the meeting, partners discussed the project objectives, work packages, division of responsibilities, upcoming activities, and the implementation plan for the first project year.

✨ RomniCareer aims to empower Roma women through mentoring, skills development, and improved opportunities for social and economic inclusion.

🌍🎬 AŠUN ME – Gemeinsam die Stimmen junger Roma stärken!

Nach zwei Jahren erfolgreicher Zusammenarbeit in sechs europäischen Ländern ist das Erasmus+ Projekt Ašun Me Ende September 2026 offiziell abgeschlossen.

🇷🇴 🇬🇷 🇪🇸 🇩🇪 🇲🇰 🇮🇪

Gemeinsam haben wir junge Roma dabei unterstützt, ihre Stimmen zu erheben, sich aktiv am politischen Dialog zu beteiligen und ihre Interessen in gesellschaftliche und politische Entscheidungsprozesse einzubringen.

🤝 Das Projekt endet – seine Wirkung bleibt!

Die entwickelten Ressourcen stehen weiterhin zur Verfügung und unterstützen junge Roma, Jugendarbeiter und Organisationen in ganz Europa.

Ein herzliches Dankeschön an alle Partner, Teilnehmenden und Unterstützer, die Ašun Me zu einem wichtigen Beitrag für mehr Teilhabe, Chancengleichheit und politische Mitbestimmung gemacht haben!

The AntiGypsyism project partners are meeting in Nicosia for the next Transnational Project Meeting, hosted by Humane Technology!

Representatives from the Institute for Roma and Minorities Inclusion (Germany), Humane Technology (Cyprus), PAL Network (Belgium), Symplexis (Greece), RYC (North Macedonia) and Brainstorming (Spain) will come together to:

✅ Review progress and monitor ongoing activities
✅ Finalise the format, rules and educational guidelines of our board game

The game is designed for young people and youth workers. It aims to challenge stereotypes about Roma, help players recognise discrimination and encourage inclusive attitudes. 💙

🌍 SAFE FUTURE – Building Stronger Cooperation Across Europe and Beyond

The SAFE FUTURE project, co-funded by the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund (AMIF), brings together a strong network of core partners and associated partners from Europe and neighbouring regions.

Over the upcoming three years, the partnership will work together to exchange knowledge, experiences and good practices, while strengthening cooperation around migration, integration, information, community engagement and support for migrants and refugees.

The cooperation connects:

Reaching the midpoint of RomInDis!

After the first year of implementation, the RomInDis consortium has reached an important milestone in the development of its capacity-building programme for Roma Health Mediators and Health Professionals.

📚 12 training modules have been drafted: 6 for Roma Health Mediators and 6 for Health Professionals. The modules combine face-to-face learning activities with materials for self-directed online learning and are designed to strengthen knowledge and practical skills related to inclusive healthcare and access to health and social rights for Roma persons with physical disabilities.
The English drafts are now moving through the review and finalisation process, before being translated into the languages of the participating countries and tested through the upcoming pilot trainings.

🤝 This work builds on the evidence collected through WP2, including the contributions of 60 professionals who participated in focus groups and 180 respondents who completed questionnaires across the six participating countries.
The next phase will focus on finalising the training materials and preparing the pilot activities.

🌍 Final TPM of the PIPE Project in Tenerife

After almost three years of cooperation, the PIPE partnership meets for the final Transnational Project Meeting in Tenerife. It is a special moment to look back at the milestones we have reached, the work carried out across five countries, and the final steps still ahead of us. 🤝✨

Throughout the project, partners have worked to create practical tools and resources that can continue supporting migrants and refugees even beyond the official project lifetime. Our focus now is on making sure these results reach even more people and remain useful in real life. 📱

One of the key results is the PIPE App, developed to provide accessible information and support for people navigating life in a new country.
