From Local Volunteer to Global Intern! ✈️🇯🇵 We are incredibly proud to share the journey of our member, Maike, who recently completed an IAESTE internship in Japan!
In her own words: “From October to November, I had the privilege of completing an IAESTE internship in Japan at the Osaka Institute for Technology (OIT).
During these two months, I worked in the Water and Resource Circulation Engineering Laboratory, where I was involved in research on the long-term management of mercury waste.
Beyond the academic experience, this journey gave me the chance to grow personally, explore a different culture, and connect with new people.
I’m very grateful for this opportunity and for everyone who supported me throughout my time in Japan 🇯🇵”
